The initial allure of a fruit-forward nose and red floral notes quickly fades into an indistinct profile, heavily reliant on VA. Strip it, and you're left with a void. The acidity and tannin land in the realm of mediocrity. The palate barely clings to a fleeting hint of fruit, dominated instead by a peculiar blend of chocolate shrouded in equine perspiration (hehe).
Valli Unite
Valli Unite is a natural wine cooperative. Being created in the 70s, it's, in fact, one of the first in the country (accent on 'natural'). Today they have 30 people on board. It's quite an unorthodox community living and managing this multifunctioning farm of 100 ha, 20 of which are dedicated to vines.
